The menu for the Edible Country is created in collaboration with Michelin-starred chefs and is inspired by the forests, lakes, and meadows to help you experience the arctic Swedish pantry. As a guest, you can choose if you like to pick the ingredients yourself, with a guide, or to get a basket ready with the ingredients from the area.
With local guides, you can collect, cook and enjoy the food yourself, out in the world’s largest open-air restaurant. If you like to devote all your attention to the beautiful surroundings, the guides will prepare the ingredients for you.
The table is located at Skeppsholmen in the town Arjeplog only a few minutes’ walk from the town center and over a small bridge close to Hornavan Hotel. Here you can find Sami settlements that tell a story of Sami history in the area.
The Edible Country is bookable on Sundays at lunch and can be booked in groups of 4-10 persons. Please bring clothes and shoes suitable for being outdoors for the season.
