There are several different ways to get to Arjeplog, depending on how you want to travel. By plane. By bus. By train. By car. No matter how you get here

With Amapola/Populair you can get from Arlanda to Arvidsjaur in just over an hour. The easiest way to book your ticket is through PopulAir or at your travel agent. For arrivals and departures, take a look at arvidsjaurairport.se.
Arvidsjaur Airport is located 100 km from Arjeplog. Once you have landed, you can get to Arjeplog via airport transfer or rental car. Travel time is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Let the bus take you from door to door by booking a transfer no later than 17:00 the day before departure or arrival. If your flight departs on a Sunday, the transfer must be booked no later than 14:00 on Saturday.

You land at Luleå Airport and by bus or car it then takes about 3 hours to get to Arjeplog. Rental car options are available at the airport.
You land at Skellefteå Airport and by bus or car it then takes about 3 hours to get to Arjeplog. Rental car options are available at the airport.

Inlandsbanan is the perfect transportation for you who wish to go to Arjeplog by train in the summer. The train stops at Slagnäs station and you can then continue to Arjeplog by connecting buses. With SJ you can go by night train to Arjeplog from Stockholm or Gothenburg, for example. While you wait in Jörn for your connecting bus, you can take a look at the old station house from the late 1800’s. For booking and information, go to website

Rental car can be booked at the airports. For Arvidsjaur airport, Hertz is one of the companies that can accommodate your rental car needs. There are also a couple of local companies in Arjeplog that can be of service to you.
