The local initiativ of Top of Arjeplog has become a bit of a movement. Both locals and visitors embraces the challenge of climbing a number of preselected tops within the area. Since the start in 2012 the interest of hiking has increast significant and towns in the nearby has adepted the concept to create their own Top of-experiences.
Each year, at least ten tops has been selected. The tops has different severity to ensure that both experiensed and less experienced hikers can participate. The summer edition is ongoing from 1st of June to 30th of September. To be able to win prices, you need to climb at least three tops and the Top of Arjeplog-card that can be bought in local stores, but that is not necessary if you just want to enjoy the experience.
